An Ehlers-Danlos Book
We are working with Wise Ink Creative Publishing to finish our picture book on Ehlers-Danlos. Bendy Bones and Stretchy Skin is based on the real-life experiences of Abigail Bailey, a young girl with hEDS. The book follows her journey getting diagnosed, navigating life changes, and educating her peers on EDS.
Courage to Be Me
A Self-Help Memoir on Disabilities
One of my long-term projects is to publish a self-help memoir full of the lessons I learned from my journey going from able-bodied to physically disabled.
Pey Carter's presentations are delivered exceptionally and meaningfully. They speak powerfully on issues of justice related to disability, veterans, and gender identity. I highly recommend Pey as a speaker for other faith-based groups seeking to learn and grow in their understanding of contemporary social justice topics.
